Artificial intelligence, what is it?
What is the difference between human intelligence and artificial intelligence?
Is there any difference?
Anything to do with artificial intelligence scares me a bit, as I don't know what it is. To understand what artificial intelligence means, I had to dive into the subject and dissect the problem to understand what artificial intelligence is and whether it can replace human intelligence.
What you don't know anything about is always scary and the best way to get over the fear is to try to understand (or at worst grow a bigger fear).
But to understand artificial intelligence, one must understand what intelligence is, I think.
Is there a definition of what intelligence is?
There is probably one, but more likely several depending on which expertise you ask. But I thought I'd give it a try.
So first of all, let's try to know and understand what human intelligence is.
According to some researchers, intelligence is not a fixed characteristic that one has or does not have, but a dynamic process that can develop and change through experience, education, and environment.
Other researchers believe that intelligence is strongly linked to genetics and the structure and function of the brain.
